Creative Facilitation of Jewish Content
(2 Hours - Full day)
JSP’s core workshop is a deep dive into the Jewish Studio Process. This unique methodology combines practices from the field of art therapy with ancient Jewish wisdom for an embodied and approachable Jewish learning experience. Using text-study, chevruta, and parallel creative process, this methodology cultivates curiosity, openness, and resilience.
Participants will leave with 1 - 2 foundational skills to approach new situations with curiosity and compassion.
-
Professional development days, retreats, immersives/intensives, conferences, and community events.
-
We led a 2-hour creative process session for Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC)’s Yitro Leadership cohort, which included a group of 23 full-time, year-round professionals in middle manager roles at sleepaway camps. We centered their retreat’s themes of Humility and Resonant Leadership with our creative and embodied approach.
“I signed up for the art and a chance to express my artistic creativity but my favorite part ended up being the text study and chevruta parts. . . the writing exercises [paired with the artistic outlet] helped access the different parts of my brain.” — CCAR Program Participant
