A three-session creative journey for teens!

Location: Newton, MA, JSP Studio at Hebrew College
This fall, join Jewish Studio Project for a monthly studio series for teens, offering space to dig into big questions of identity, disagreement, and the unknown. Teens are navigating so much change right now, and this series invites them to slow down and make sense of it through Jewish wisdom and hands-on art making.
During these monthly 90-minute, in-person sessions, teens will engage in the Jewish Studio Process, a unique methodology that builds creative capacity by combining art therapy practices with a reimagined approach to Jewish learning.
No art experience necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
This series is offered in partnership with Congregation Dorshei Tzedek.
Facilitated by Josh Conescu:
Josh Conescu (he/him) is a JSP-trained facilitator with 25 years of experience in Jewish education across Boston. A former improvisational actor and theater manager, Josh discovered JSP in 2019, transforming his relationship to Jewish texts, teaching, and creativity.
A Note About Fees:
The participation fee for this series is $180. Our goal is to never turn anyone away for lack of funds. If you you need additional assistance, please contact Annie Fortnow at afortnow@jewishstudioproject.org.
If we don’t have at least 5 people registered before the series, it will be canceled and all registrants will receive a full refund.
COVID Policy:
Masks are optional and extras will be available at the studio. If you are symptomatic or not feeling well, please stay home and we will see you next time.
A note about Studio accessibility:
The studio and bathroom are both wheelchair accessible. During art-making time, we will hang up paper on the wall so those who want to can stand to make art; we will also set up places to sit during art-making time if that is more comfortable for you. In the studio, there is a comfy chair for anyone to use at anytime.
Refund Policy:
No refunds will be made after sessions have begun. If you need to cancel due to extenuating family or life circumstances, please be in touch with Annie to discussion options.
