Reawakening Intention with Nefesh

Register here

Date: Sunday, September 7
Time: 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: The Commons, Jonathan Daniels, South Building, 2nd Floor - 840 Echo Park Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90026

As we enter this season of reflection and return, we’ll use the Jewish Studio Process – a unique methodology that weaves together text study, intuitive art-making, and reflective writing – to reconnect with the voice within that guides our kavanah (intention) and connection. Together, we will explore what it means to tend to our inner sparks with care, cultivating compassionate attention toward ourselves and the world around us. No prior Jewish text study or art-making experience is necessary – all are welcome!

Parking: Garage parking is available with elevator access to the gathering space on Level 1, where all surfaces are paved or carpeted. Please enter the garage at Laguna Avenue and press 001 to be buzzed in. Street level access is on Echo Park Ave by staircase (2 flights) or elevator. Biking, carpooling, walking, etc. are also encouraged. NOTE: For the safety of our community, please do not attempt to enter or exit through the back gate on Laguna Ave.

Price: $36 – 54 sliding scale. No one turned away for lack of funds. If you need financial assistance to attend this workshop, please contact Jordana, jfraider@nefeshla.org.

Please reach out to info@nefeshla.org with any accessibility questions and concerns.
