The Jewish Studio Process: The Heart of the Torah - Boston

Monday, April 27

Time: 8:00pm - 9:15pm

Cost: $10-54 (sliding scale)

Location: Lehrhaus - 425 Washington Street Somerville, MA 02143

What does it mean to build a life of holiness? In Parshat Kedoshim, often called the heart of the Torah, we are invited into a vision of sacred living rooted in relationship, responsibility, and the everyday choices that shape who we become. Through Jewish text study, art-making, and reflection, we’ll explore how holiness can live not only in big moments, but in the ways we care for one another, set boundaries, pursue justice, and move through the world.

No art or text experience needed, just openness to process and possibility.

Josh Conescu (he/him) is a Jewish Studio Project-trained facilitator who has been working in Jewish education in the Boston area for 25 years. Before teaching, Josh was an improvisational actor / theatre manager in Seattle. Josh happened onto a JSP intensive workshop in Berkeley in November, 2019. The experience rewired his relationship to Jewish texts, teaching and his understanding of how each of us is uniquely creative.
