We expect more interest in this immersive than there are spots available. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate everyone who expresses interest in participating.

  • At the signature JSP Studio Immersive, you will experience full-day, facilitated creative process sessions using the Jewish Studio Process, led by Rabbi Adina Allen, Founding Rabbi and President of JSP. Each day will be thoughtfully curated to support your learning, connection, and growth.

    The experience includes:

    • Nourishing meals and snacks throughout the day

    • Community building experiences designed for genuine connection

    • Morning groundings with music, reflection, meditation

    • An opportunity to carve out time in your everyday life to feel refreshed, inspired, and optimistic

The Studio Immersive is designed for people who are both new to and those familiar with the Jewish Studio Process. However, we highly recommend attending a virtual program before attending the Immersive.

  • Schedule

The JSP Studio Immersive will run from 2:30pm Sunday, October 11th through 12:00pm Wednesday, October 14th. All activities will take place at the JSP Bay Area Studio in Berkeley, CA unless otherwise noted on the schedule. Participants will be expected to participate for the full duration of the program.

    Pricing & Accommodation

The program fee for the Studio Immersive is $1,200/person. Limited reduced-cost tuition options are available - please see the application for more details. The program fee includes:

    • Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks throughout our time together

    • All learning and art materials

    • JSP swag!

Participants are responsible for securing their transportation and housing for the duration of the program. JSP does not provide accommodations for this experience. There are numerous Airbnbs within walking distance of our studio, and we’re happy to recommend nearby hotels that are a short Uber ride away.

    A note about travel

    • Whenever possible we recommend flying into Oakland Airport (OAK). San Francisco Airport (SFO) tends to have more direct flights especially from the East Coast but will take longer to get to Berkeley where the studio is located.

    A note about food

    • We are able to accommodate major allergens, sensitivities, and needs, including Kosher, vegan and/or gluten free. If you have more specific dietary restrictions than stated above, please reach out.

  • There are three steps into the JSP Bay Area Studio building and the bathroom is not ADA. During art-making time, we will hang up paper on the wall so those who want to can stand to make art; we will also set up places to sit during art-making time if that is more comfortable for you. In the studio, there is a couch for anyone to use at anytime. If you have specific questions or concerns, please reach out to us.

All participants will be required to take a rapid COVID test before arriving to the studio on Sunday, October 11th. Masks are optional and extras will be available at the studio. If you are symptomatic or not feeling well, please stay home.
