Have You Made Art About It Yet?

Carl Jung once wrote, often the hands know how to figure out a riddle that the intellect has wrestled with in vain. In this 3-part series, get your hands busy exploring the power of art making as a tool for personal and collective renewal. Each session will draw on the Jewish Studio Process - a unique methodology combining practices from the field of art therapy with a reimagined approach to Jewish learning and spirituality - as a tool for exploring our relationship to self, others and to God.

Session 3: God

At its best, we might describe prayer as: a pathway to access deep places within ourselves; a bridge that connects us to community in meaningful ways; an opening to feel the power of something bigger than ourselves. In this session we'll explore the power of art making as prayer practice. We'll ask: in what ways can creative process serve to connect us to the Divine?

PLEASE NOTE: In order to attend all 3 sessions, you *MUST* be present at the first class on January 9th!
