We ask at the beginning of programs, 'How many of you are harboring a memory of your 2nd grade teacher telling you "Stick to math and social studies?"' So many of us have those memories. But that's only one narrow definition of what art can be, that our society has decided on. We're trying to open up those possibilities of what art can be."
