Tu B'Shevat, Trees and Tikkun Olam for 6th Graders at Central Synagogue

  • Central Synagogue 652 Lexington Avenue New York, NY, 10022 United States

Jewish tradition teaches that the Earth is our responsibility to care for and to love. In honor of Tu B'Shevat, the Jewish Earth Day, we will explore the incredible role that trees play in our world, drawing on teachings from Judaism, science, and our own life experience. Honoring the beauty of creation we will then dig into art supplies and the depths of our own imaginations to create our own wildly beautiful tree.
